In year 4 we work together to make every day one where learn together, discover new and exciting things and have fun!

Year 4 are huge fans of the author Roald Dahl and have read 'George's Marvellous Medicine' and 'James and the Giant Peach' together. We celebrated Roald Dahl day in lots of exciting ways.......Even Mrs Thomas dressed up!

 

 

 

 

 

            We are very proud of our class assembly, we wrote it ourselves, it was about everything we had been learning and all about the celebration of Easter.In it we danced, sang, told jokes, acted, played the recorder and ate chocolate!       Welcome to our Medieval day, as part of planning for our Medieval  theme , we decided to go back in time..............................

     Our maids prepared a medieval banquet, we ate

   meats, blackbird pie and warm bread!

 

         

                  

 

                       We had some elegant ladies who turned up in all their splendour and some brave knights to protect them!   We researched what different pictures on coats of arms symbolised, then made our own. In the picture below we are making soap, the Medieval way!
